Dementia Care

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care in Western Pennsylvania

Presbyterian SeniorCare Network’s dementia care encompasses three distinct areas: support for family caregivers, residential dementia care, and a national education and consulting effort. We also provide Adult Day services.

We are nationally recognized for creating a new way to care for people living with dementia. We led the change in dementia care from institutional to residential environments. This philosophy of person-centered care is infused in all our dementia care programs and has been replicated by senior living communities nationally and internationally.

Residential Dementia Care Communities

Our dementia care residents experience considerable freedom of choice in a secure environment while engaging in everyday activities that create a sense of purpose and nurture social connections. All our dementia care communities are designed specifically to meet the physical, social, and psychological needs of persons living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

We have locations in:

Caregiver Support

Our Dementia360 program gives family caregivers of people living with dementia the support, resources, and connections they need to keep their loved ones at home. Our care coordinators help you to identify you and your family member’s unique needs, challenges, and what matters most. Together, we’ll design a plan to address these needs, learn more about the disease, and overcome challenges so that families can live better, together. The goal is for your loved one to live comfortably and safely with you at home for as long as possible.

Education and Consulting

For more than 30 years, we have built a national reputation as a Dementia Care Center of Excellence and an innovator in the dementia care space. Adult Day Services

Our Adult Day Services offer people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias the opportunity to be social and to participate in engaging activities in a safe environment.

Adult Day is a great option for full-time caregivers. It can provide a much-needed break so you can have time to rest, run errands, or finish other tasks. It’s also popular with people who work during the day and who want a safe, caring environment for their loved one. Adult Day is available at our Woodside Place communities in Oakmont and Washington, PA.
